Mystikweb has been a dream for the last 10 years with a goal of doing something that can change an industry of any kind. This goal had no particular industry, need or technology historically up until recently and had only just been an idea to empower people and business with tools to make things better. Now with a firm idea of where to start and a means to get there, Mystikweb is ready to start taking steps from being just an idea in the shadows towards a future in helping community and social service programs network themselves together.
In the past through various experiences of the team and discussion with some of the professionals in the Hamilton community we have come across the following issues. First and foremost there appears to be a lack of efficient communication between these community programs. Secondly, clients of these programs are getting lost in the “system” and not always getting the proper help they require when they need it due to the lack of communication. Thirdly, because of paper trails and static forms all of the information required to be passed between the programs may not always be available and left for interpretation. These three concerns are the reason our team decided that this would be an aggressive but worthwhile to approach.
